Which brings up a question - why don’t we hear more about CNG-powered vehicles as opposed to Ethanol/E10/E85? The problem is that we have an evolving transportation fuel market, and the federal government is intervening too early with mandates and subsidies (and maybe that ethanol has too many lobbyists :-)…
Imagine if the federal government decided to subsidize both sides of the BetaMax/VHS war…or decide to mandate universal usage of 8 track tapes….
The answer is not a federal mandate but private industry innovation, standardization, and feasible interoperability (DVD+R/DVD-R anyone?)…
